Unicorn coloring pages can go in a lot of directions, but for adults, I think the best designs have enough detail to make coloring satisfying without filling every inch of the page with tiny shapes.
That is what I wanted from this collection.
These 20 unicorn coloring pages for adults include floral gardens, mountain scenery, castles, stars, crystals, waterfalls, clouds, and quieter nature scenes. Some pages focus closely on the unicorn and its flowing mane, while others give you a full landscape to color around it.
There is plenty of variety too. If you feel like coloring flowers, start with one of the garden pages. If you prefer fantasy scenery, there are castles, celestial designs, crystals, and mountain settings. There are also calmer pages with lakes, forests, butterflies, and a sleeping unicorn.
Each coloring page has its own Download Now button below the image. Open the PDF, print the page you want, and start coloring.
A Mix of Unicorn Designs to Color
One thing I did not want was 20 pages that felt almost identical.
A unicorn standing in the middle of the page can be beautiful, but repeating the same pose over and over gets boring quickly. So the collection mixes full-body unicorns, close-up portraits, detailed backgrounds, open landscapes, floral frames, and decorative fantasy scenes.
The floral unicorn pages have roses, sunflowers, wildflowers, leaves, and climbing plants around the unicorn. These are good choices if you enjoy choosing several related colors and working through a page slowly.
The nature scenes give you larger areas to work with. Mountains, lakes, waterfalls, trees, open fields, and clouds leave room for different color combinations without making the page feel crowded.
Then there are the more decorative pages. The mandala unicorn, celestial unicorn, royal unicorn, and crystal unicorn have extra details around the main subject. These pages are especially fun if you like using metallic pencils, gel pens, or several shades of the same color.
How to Print These Unicorn Coloring Pages
Choose the unicorn coloring page you want and use the Download Now button underneath it. The printable PDF will open separately, so you can save it or print it directly.
For most home printers, using the fit-to-page setting is the easiest option. It keeps the complete design inside the printable area rather than cutting off part of the border.
Regular printer paper works well for colored pencils and crayons. If you plan to use markers, gel pens, or heavier coloring supplies, thicker paper can feel better and may reduce ink showing through to the other side.
If your printer allows it, you can also print the same unicorn page a few times and try completely different color schemes.
Coloring Ideas for the Unicorn Pages
You do not have to stick with the usual white unicorn and rainbow mane.
A dark blue unicorn with a silver mane can work beautifully on the moon and star pages. Soft pinks, lavender, pale blue, and muted greens suit the floral scenes. For the crystal design, you could use one color family and move from very light shades to deeper ones across the gems.
The landscape pages give you even more room to experiment. Try cool mountain colors with a brighter unicorn in the foreground, or use warm sunset shades behind the unicorn and keep the plants softer.
The mane and tail are also good places to play with color. Instead of filling each section with one solid shade, try alternating colors, blending two pencils together, or moving gradually from dark to light.
There is no fixed color scheme to follow. Print another copy whenever you want to try a different version.
Good Coloring Supplies for These Pages
Colored pencils are probably the easiest choice for most of this collection. They give you control around the flowers, mane, crystals, stars, and other smaller sections while still working well across larger areas.
Fine-tip markers can work nicely for decorative details. If you use alcohol markers, place an extra sheet underneath the page because the ink can pass through thinner paper.
Gel pens are useful for small accents, especially on stars, jewelry, crowns, crystals, and floral details. Metallic or glitter pens can be fun on those areas too, though you certainly do not need special supplies to enjoy the pages.
For softer backgrounds such as clouds, water, and open sky, lightly layered colored pencils can keep those areas from competing with the unicorn.
Print a Few Instead of Choosing Just One
You can download all 20 unicorn coloring pages or simply pick the designs that match what you feel like coloring that day.
A detailed floral portrait may be perfect when you want to spend longer on one page. A mountain, meadow, or cloud scene gives you larger sections when you want something more relaxed. The decorative pages sit somewhere between the two, with enough smaller elements to stay interesting without turning the entire page into tiny patterns.
You can also keep a few printed pages ready for weekends, quiet evenings, travel, or any time you want something creative to do away from a screen.
